The Big D is a fuller, midlength version of our D Min, meant to get into waves easily and provide smooth turns. It’s best for a wide range of conditions from slopey point breaks to beach breaks. The diamond tail in combination with the hooked double concave close to the rails creates firmer turns, more acceleration, and a great ride down the line. The moderate entry rocker helps with getting into waves easier. The tail rocker is slightly on the plus side to free up the tail a bit. The Big D is a great addition to any quiver if you want to catch more waves and have more fun in less than average surf.
